Bonnyrigg Rose Community Football Club and World Mental Health Day

Saturday 10th October 2020

World Mental Health Day .. 2020

There’s never been a better time for Bonnyrigg Rose Football Club to share what it’s doing to support the club and local community around Mental Health .

Positive Mental Health is very much part of the clubs ethos and breaking the stigma around Mental Health is something the club is very passionate about doing . Most people have challenging times in life and there’s nothing wrong with getting a bit help and support. If the club can  provide that for those in need of emotional support ,  for us that is a huge success.

The Club works in partnership with local organisations, Health In Mind, Positive Mental Health Scotland , Mums Walk   and  Emotion All  to deliver the following .

As soon as Covid allows, the club hopes to open up a Men shed and Lunch Club for our senior citizens. Loneliness impacts on Mental Health and especially depression and dementia.  Anything the Club can do get our senior citizens together in a safe environment we’re happy to do so .

So on this Day where   ‘Mental  Health  is recognised around the world, let’s all do as much as we can to support each other.
