Do you have experience in sports or educational settings with a strong understanding of child development principles? Bonnyrigg Rose Community Football Club is seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Play Phase Coordinator.
As the Boys Play Phase Lead for the community club, you will have the opportunity to shape the early football experiences of young players in the play phase (4 & 5 a side). Your role will involve supporting volunteer playmakers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance player growth.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the Football Development Manager in guiding playmakers and nurturing young players
– Request playing areas on a weekly basis to meet the needs of academy age groups
– Liaise with parents and recruit volunteer playmakers
– Oversee the holistic development of players and playmakers
– Provide monthly reports on program progress to the Football Development Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
– UEFA C Children’s & First Aid qualifications recommended
– Experience working with young children in a sports or educational setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute positively to the club’s culture
– Excellent planning and organization skills
Hours: 4 hours per week (on average)
